1. About The Reswap Club
The Reswap Club is a student item resale platform that connects leaving exchange students ("Sellers") with incoming exchange students ("Buyers"). The Reswap Club facilitates the sale of second-hand items and handles the logistics of pickup and delivery. The Reswap Club is operated by an individual based in British Columbia, Canada.
2. Eligibility
You must be a current or incoming exchange student to use The Reswap Club. By using this platform you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. How It Works
Sellers drop off items with The Reswap Club. The Reswap Club photographs, prices, and lists items on the platform. When an item sells, the Seller receives 50% of the sale price. Payment is collected from Buyers at the time of delivery. Payouts to Sellers are processed after delivery is confirmed.
4. Payments
All payments are collected at delivery in CAD. Seller payouts are made via PayPal, bank transfer, or e-transfer depending on the information provided in your profile. The Reswap Club is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payout information provided by the Seller.
5. Items
The Reswap Club reserves the right to refuse, remove, or reprice any item at its discretion. Items must be clean, functional, and accurately described. The Reswap Club is not responsible for any damage to items during storage, pickup, or delivery.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Buyers may cancel an order before it is marked as delivered. Once delivery is confirmed by the Buyer, the transaction is final and no refunds will be issued. If an item is significantly not as described, please contact hello@reswap.club within 24 hours of delivery.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Reswap Club is a facilitator and is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from transactions between Buyers and Sellers. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
8. Changes to Terms
The Reswap Club may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
